The hotel offers a charming Texas feel with its exterior of central Texas limestone and a cozy lobby. The rooms are clean and follow a familiar layout reminiscent of a Holiday Inn Express. A particularly nice touch is the addition of bath mats in the bathrooms to enhance safety. The pillows are comfortable, and the larger swimming pool is perfect for families. The outdoor seating with rocking chairs and swings provides a relaxing atmosphere, and the breakfast includes a fun Texas-shaped waffle maker.
There could be occasional noise from other guests.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, facilities were good, nice and perfect location just off a Brookshire Brothers grocery store and a Walmart and the common areas and all the painted churches in the area. We stayed in a spotless room that had a refrigerator, coffee/tea making machines and a work desk. The view was magnificent and the bed was comfortable.
Didn’t dislike anything about the property.

Convenient dog accommodations available.
I was really frustrated with the breakfast situation. The breakfast room was dark, and I waited a long time for someone to show up, but no employees were around.

The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with a bath mat to avoid slipping. The larger-than-average pool was lovely, and I enjoyed relaxing in the rocking chairs outside.
The bed was a bit too firm for me.

A lovely hotel with a unique Texas feel, especially with its charming limestone exterior and cozy lobby. The fixtures felt fresh and neat. My night was pleasant as the room had comfy pillows and effective air conditioning. I enjoyed sitting outside in rocking chairs under the stars. The breakfast featured a Texas-shaped waffle maker that was a fun addition, but breakfast options were repetitive and could use more variety. The key card issues were frustrating as it worked for the room but not for the hotel entrance was good. It was a clean environment, though the front desk service could be warmer and more attentive. I appreciated the overall maintenance but found a bit of lackluster attitude from the staff. The firm bed was almost too much for comfort, might not suit everyone's preference, although I managed just fine for one night.

The overall environment felt safe and inviting. The larger-than-average swimming pool is a definite perk for families traveling with kids.
Couples might struggle with thin walls, as sound from adjoining rooms comes through easily, evidenced by guests overhearing everything in the next unit. One room had a mildew smell, leading to multiple room changes, inconvenient for anyone just looking to unwind. Key card issues created some hassle with access to the hotel entrance, which can be frustrating after a long journey.

The King Room was cozy with comfy pillows that I wanted to take home! Air conditioning worked great. I like it cold. The bathroom was clean and had cool push dispensers for shampoo and lotion. A nice stay, but the bed was a bit too firm for my liking. Still, I enjoyed the Texas-shaped waffles at breakfast and the larger pool was a hit! Perfect for families traveling with kids.
